Typical schedule
- Monday–Friday, 7:00am–3:30pm
- Occasional Saturdays during peak season are optional for go-getters who want extra earning opportunities
What you’ll do:
You’ll run in-home appointments, perform full fireplace/chimney inspections, and present solutions that keep homes safe, code-compliant, and beautiful.
Day-to-day responsibilities:
- Perform full fireplace/chimney/venting inspections (includes ladders, roofs, tight spaces, and attics as needed)
- Deliver professional in-home consultative presentations and ask for the sale when appropriate
- Build clear scopes of work, create accurate estimates, and recommend the right repair/rebuild/install options
- Follow our no-pressure, trust-first sales process with consistent follow-up
- Document inspections thoroughly (notes + photos) and track pipeline in our CRM
- Coordinate with office and production teams to ensure smooth project execution
- Stay current on industry standards and complete ongoing training
What we’re looking for:
This job is for you if you can sell professionally and do the hands-on inspection work.
Required:
- 2+ years of in-home / outside sales (home services preferred)
- Comfortable with heights and roof work (ladders, pitches, varying conditions)
- Strong communication and professionalism in customers’ homes
- Coachable, self-driven, and consistent with follow-up and documentation
- Valid driver’s license and ability to work independently in the field
Ideal experience (not required):
- Roofing/exterior sales, HVAC comfort advisor, foundation/waterproofing, restoration, windows/doors, home inspection
- Experience explaining technical issues clearly and presenting options without pressure
